Reading Gives You Superpowers (Dav Pilkey video)

Hi friends!

I found another great video for our school libraries. I don’t think I’ll show this during library orientation. I’m gonna save it for later in the year, when we need a little reading pep talk.

This video, from Scholastic, features Dav Pilkey, the super-popular author of Captain Underpants. He draws as he talks, and he tells us why reading is so much better than watching TV or movies. Preach it, brother!

It’s a great message, delivered in a very engaging way. I know you and your students will like it!
