Shamrock Book Review Center

March, Saint Patrick’s Day, leprechauns, and green…it’s time to decorate for the spring season ahead. I love to decorate our library with student book reviews!

Here is a form I’ve created as a free download on Teachers Pay Teachers:

The download also includes the “I Can” sign for your center. You just need to copy the book review form, add pencils and markers (or crayons). Here’s what our shamrock book review center looks like.

As you can see from the example above, our students have already jumped in and started writing reviews of the books they like. I think you know that students really pay attention to a recommendation from a peer.

You can use these shamrocks to create a bulletin board or decorations all over the classroom or library. You’ll be helping develop a community of readers as you “green up” the room for Saint Patrick’s Day!
