S’More Tech Summer Camp

Hi friends!

I’ve missed you for the past few days. I’ve been away from the blogosphere, busy packing up 15,000 books so that we can get new carpet in our elementary school library this summer. That was exhausting!

Now I’m starting to plan my summer. And I’d love for you to join me in my S’More Tech Summer Camp!

I’ll be attending tech workshops in my district and checking out some awesome ed tech blogs in the next several weeks. I’ll look at topics like how to use the iPad for instruction if you only have one iPad, and which web 2.0 tools your students can use without having to create an account.

I’ll look at each technology application to determine how it can be incorporated into library instruction, and whether it is workable in the restrictive school network environment.

Will you join me? I’d love to have your input about which of these you’ve tried and what your results were.  I want to know what you think about the latest, greatest possibilities. If we work together, we can all have a few tech tricks up our sleeve when we head back to school.

But, wait a minute! This is summer camp! So we’ll have to throw in lots of fun stuff, too! Let’s spend time playing while we can. Slip into your flip flops and fire up your laptop. S’more Tech begins on Tuesday, June 5!

Even though school doesn’t get out until next week here in America’s Hometown, I am looking forward to your camp!! Since I have 1 iPad for 2 buildings I will be interested in what to do with it in the library!

It is rainy & cold right now, but I know where my flip-flops are!!
