Elf on the Library Shelf, Day 2

Hi friends!

I hope your December days are sparkling!

Our elf on the shelf found a new friend today: Gingy from the Shrek movie!

 
Gingy is supported by a book end because he’s really a floppy puppet. You could use any stuffed animal or puppet so that your elf can sit on a lap and read a book. The book is a piece of an index card, and I drew a small green elf hat on the “cover.”

There are lots of ways for an elf to show his love of reading.
